Vietnam image gallery
Wow – I’ve been quiet lately; more photos from Fall/Winter weddings are coming very, very soon – I promise! But for now, check out the new Vietnam photo gallery on my Photoshelter site. And please come back soon!
Avie and Dan
Avie and Dan were married at the Penn’s Landing Hyatt here in Center City Philadelphia. I met them and Avie’s family last year, and have been looking forward to their wedding ever since… Some favorites below!

Kathleen + John’s Engagement Session
Had a great engagement shoot with Kathleen and John in Philly’s Loft District – on and around 13th Street just south of Spring Garden Ave. They were a lot of fun as we explored the overgrown rail “highline” and the very gritty, urban neighborhood. I cannot wait to shoot their wedding next may at Bartram’s Garden…

Amazingly, Kathleen and John had seen this guy and his dog riding around town before; he lives in the loft district, so we got to talk with him and get some photos with his dog

“If you thirsty . . .” all sorts of interesting findings along the rail line

Angela and Mark at The Morris Arboretum
The Morris Arboretum is quickly becoming one of my favorite venues to shoot; it is such a beautiful site, with so many places to explore + find great photo spots. Angela and Mark had a unique ceremony and reception that was 100% their own; it was really meaningful to be a part of it, in addition to taking their photos. Here are some of my favorites:
In the bird’s nest

I arrived early and found this cool little castle structure in a remote corner of the arboretum; we took a golf cart ride out to the location for a bunch of great shots

Celebration; yup, the flower girl actually went back to pick-up her flowers (this actually happens more than you would guess!)

He had a really great look and presence, and we had several conversations throughout the night. He was always on to me when I took his photo; but every once and awhile I was able to snap one without his attention…

I really liked this little statue, and the leaves make a great background; just a little personal favorite to end the post…

Meghan and Bob at Cescaphe Ballroom
Meghan and Bob were married in Old City, moving the party up to Cescaphe in Northern Liberties right after the ceremony. We managed to shoot plenty of photos around the neighborhood before it started to pour during the cocktail hour. Cescaphe really had their game on – as did Margaux St. Ledger of Fleur de Lis Custom Floral Design. The presentation was right-on and the flowers just kept getting more amazing throughout the day. I hired Jauhien as my second, and his images were top -notch; all together, I’m very happy with the photos for the day and we had a great time with Meghan, Bob, their family and friends.

Grand table flowers; winning the flowers can be a lot of fun – carrying them home is another story
